Affiliate Disclosure

This disclosure explains how Tecno Versus is funded, in line with the US Federal Trade Commission’s guidance on endorsements and the equivalent rules in the UK and EU.

What an affiliate link is

Some outbound links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and then sign up or buy, the vendor may pay us a commission. The price you pay is never higher because you used our link.

How it affects what we publish

It does not determine our recommendations. We write about products that are credible answers to the question a reader is asking, including products that pay us nothing. We name real weaknesses in every product we cover, and we will recommend a free tool over a paid one when the free tool is the better fit.

How to identify them

Every article that contains affiliate links carries a notice at the top. Affiliate links carry the sponsored attribute and open in a new tab.

Programs

We participate in affiliate programs run directly by software vendors and through partner networks. If you would rather not use an affiliate link, search for the product by name and go to the vendor’s site directly — it makes no difference to your price or to our recommendation.
