Software pricing changes quietly. A vendor adds a seat minimum, moves a feature up a tier, or raises the entry plan, and every article on the internet quoting the old figure goes stale without anyone noticing. So we re-read the published pricing page of every product we cover, on a schedule, and record what moved. This page is that log, in full, including the vendors we cannot read automatically.

Changes recorded so far

A change means the set of amounts printed on the vendor’s pricing page was different from the previous reading. It does not by itself mean a plan got more expensive: vendors also add plans, retire them, and re-word their add-ons. Each one below is a prompt to go and read the page, which is what we do before it reaches an article.

Every product we track

The figures themselves live in the guides, where a person wrote them down against a date. This table is what sits behind that: the vendor page each price came from, and when we last confirmed it had not moved.

Method, and what this data is not

A scheduled job fetches each vendor’s own public pricing page and records every currency amount printed on it, with the date. Nothing is inferred and no model is involved. Comparing one reading against the previous one gives the change log above.

What we deliberately do not publish here is the amounts themselves, mapped to plan names. A pricing page mixes monthly, annual, per-seat and per-credit figures in a layout only a person reading it can untangle, and a table that presented a per-credit charge as a plan price would be worse than no table. When a figure reaches a guide, a person has read the page and dated the claim.

Some pages return nothing to an automated read, usually because they build their pricing in the browser. Those are marked above and checked by hand instead, which is why a product with no automated reading still has a dated price in its guide. If you spot a figure of ours that has gone stale, tell us and we will re-check it.
